Madison is the capital of the state of Wisconsin and the county seat of Dane County.. It is home to the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and is consistently ranked as one of the “most educated” cities in America. With a population just over 230,000, Madison is the second largest city in the state. Madison's suburbs include DeForest, Fitchburg, Maple Bluff, McFarland, Middleton, Monona, Oregon, Shorewood Hills, Stoughton, Sun Prairie, Verona, and Waunakee. The Madison Metropolitan Area has a population of nearly 570,000.

Madison offers downtown living, just steps away from the gorgeous Capitol Building (famously modeled after our Nation’s Capitol), boutique shopping on State Street, and countless restaurants of every style to satisfy even the most adventurous food-lover. The cultural scene is alive and well in Madison, as we boast numerous venues for live music, theater, and art. Madison is nestled between Lake Mendota and Lake Monona, so the city offers an abundance of water activities, and gorgeous lake views.
